Today, newspapers are available right at almost everyone's fingertips. You can get a newspaper delivered to your house, at a grocery store, and even at a fast food drive through! However, depending on whether the newspaper is a daily or a weekly, will determine the quantity and quality of the information. Depending on what type of information you like to read, and how elaborate you would like the stories to be will be your key to deciding which newspaper you would enjoy reading.
A daily newspaper is exactly what is sounds like, a newspaper that is printed every day. These newspapers usually consist of a news section, sports, opinion, and arts and entertainment guides. Daily newspapers usually consist of news that happened "yesterday", and won't contain stories that are as elaborate as would be in a weekly newspaper. This is because writers are under a time crunch, and usually have to work late into the night to have their stories "run", so that they can be published by the next morning, and your newspaper can be waiting on your driveway by the time you wake up!
Weekly newspapers are good for those that don't have the time to sit down every day to read the daily newspaper. Weekly newspapers usually contain hard hitting news that have been examined and expanded, instead of breaking the news. They are often very detailed as the reporters have a longer time span to research and write about events. From future weekly weather occurrences to political tirades and “how a bout’s,” this paper has it all and breathes out wads of info that is most likely not present in the daily newspaper. Weekly newspapers contain information of the week, and also have a preview of what's to come.
There are so many different ways to obtain news these days, and whether you would like "yesterday's" news, or elaborate type content, there is a newspaper out there for you!
